Tim Coulson

Tim began his career at Pearl Assurance where he qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. He then spent six years at Prudential in their annuities division where he was responsible for pricing and developing solutions for defined benefit pension schemes.

Tim has over seven years experience in the buy-out market and has been involved in more than 100 pension scheme buy-outs, including some of the largest transacted to date in the UK.

At Paternoster, Tim works with trustees and advisors to develop appropriate risk management solutions for defined benefit pension schemes. He was a lead member of the team that agreed with the P&O pension scheme trustees the purchase of a bulk annuity policy from Paternoster.
