Jane Beverley

Jane Beverley graduated from Oxford University in 1992, with a degree in Classics. After several years as a lecturer in Oxford (during which she also wrote a doctorate on Greek tragedy), she decided that pensions were more exciting than academia and switched to an actuarial career in 1998.

Before joining Punter Southall in 2004, Jane was a consultant and actuarial analyst in the technical department of another actuarial consultancy firm.

In October 2007, Jane was promoted to Principal and Head of Research at Punter Southall. As Head of Research, she oversees the operational management of an expanding research department.

Jane also provides analysis and advice within the firm on new and existing legislation and produces a number of materials for clients, such as the bimonthly client bulletin and Pensions briefing notes. She regularly presents on new legislation issues at client seminars and trustee training events and provides articles and comments for the press.
