Jane Curtis

Jane joined Hewitt (formerly Bacon & Woodrow) in 1981 straight from university and qualified as an actuary in 1985. She enjoys a varied and interesting role within Hewitt including leading the St Albans office, acting as Scheme Actuary to fourteen pension schemes, chairing the Firm's funding policy and technical guidance teams, recruitment and management of senior client managers. Within the profession Jane was an examiner for many years and from 2002 to 2004 was Chairman of the Board of Examiners. She is a member of Institute Council and currently chairs the ECPD Board. Away from the office, Jane likes to spend time with her husband (who is also an actuary) and her two energetic children. She is a part-time swimming coach and spends most of her free time on poolside!
