David Barker

David is a European Partner within Mercer's Retirement Business. Whilst his clients include companies with defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes, his speciality is DC consulting and he is a member of the Mercer's DC Leadership Group, which develops strategy, consulting material and processes for their DC consulting services.

He joined Mercer in 1989 following 12 years with another consultancy and an insurance company. He is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute and of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
